It all started from a client’s tough experience, which inspired us to become China‑based procurement partner for overseas hotels.
My name is Yulia. Shortly after graduating from university, I stepped into foreign trade industry. For years, I have been focusing on procurement services for overseas hotels, resorts and commercial projects. In this industry, I have witnessed numerous overseas buyers sourcing supplies from China, and also saw how exhausted they could get from all kinds of procurement troubles.
There was once a client running a Southeast‑Asian resort. To prepare for the grand opening, he needed to source goods from multiple Chinese factories simultaneously: linen, tableware, kitchen equipment, outdoor furniture and many other categories. He had to communicate across time‑zones non‑stop, confirming product specifications, sample details and delivery schedules over and over. Supplier screening, sample validation and order coordination alone consumed more than two months.
Troubles still emerged after goods arrived at destination. Some custom‑made items had quality defects, while different suppliers passed the buck to each other. Since goods were shipped separately from various manufacturers, customs clearance, transportation and administration costs kept rising. With the hotel opening date drawing near, the whole project was under huge pressure.
The client turned to me for help. During that period, I kept coordinating with suppliers, working out feasible solutions, arranging replenishment and re‑planning shipping schedules. After nearly one‑month efforts, we finally got the project back on track for the hotel opening.
This experience made me realise one critical truth: What overseas hotels truly need when purchasing from China is not merely products, but a reliable partner who can integrate resources, control quality and take real responsibility.
